Thank you for being interested in the Houston Developmental Basketball League. We are located on the North side of Houston, Texas. The mission of the HDBL is to build an athletic program for ages five through thirteen and equip them with the tools necessary to achieve their goals in athletics and academics by placing emphasis on "Being Good Students, Before Becoming Athletes." Our program teaches basic basketball fundalmentals and the importance of having discipline. Explanation is also given on the importance of education. Too many of our young stars has fallen through the cracks simply because more emphasis was placed on athetics than education. The HDBL recognizes the players effort by rewarding Scholastic Achievements. We are the best kept secret in Houston, Texas. Ops! Now "you" know!

We all must do our part in assuring the success rate of programs such as this, and use whatever method necessary to educate our youth. They are the future and should be given our immediate attention!
